AC Milan and Genoa will square off at San Siro tomorrow and with second place to defend, the Rossoneri will be keen on celebrating after the final whistle. As per the latest reports, a few changes are expected to the XI.

The likes of Theo Hernandez and Fikayo Tomori are back from suspension, with the defence thus back to normal order, but Milan will still be without six players. The two most notable absences are those of Mike Maignan and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Due to the Englishman’s absence, Pioli will try out the attacking-minded formation once again with Christian Pulisic in the No.10 role, and Samuel Chukwueze on the right. It worked well against Lecce, so the hope is that it will work again.

Ismael Bennacer also looks set to get a chance, as per Sky Italia, after starting on the bench last time out. Other than that, however, it’s pretty much what you would expect although many would have liked to see Noah Okafor up front.

As for Genoa, Albert Gudmundsson is at risk of missing the game but Genoa are hoping that he can make it.

Predicted Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Sportiello; Florenzi, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Reijnders; Chukwueze, Pulisic, Leao; Giroud.

Predicted Genoa XI (3-5-2): Martinez; Vogliacco, De Winter, Vasquez; Sabelli, Thorsby, Badelj, Frendrup, Martin; Gudmundsson, Retegui.
