A lot has been said about Auburn's top talent at the NFL Combine, with Derick Hall having enough impressive film to sneak into the back end of round one and Owen Pappoe running away with the fastest linebacker crown and potentially running all the way into round three in the upcoming NFL draft.

However, Colby Wooden - Auburn's other top prospect - has quietly staked his claim to starting in the NFL on a regular basis.

The former Lawrenceville native has impressed scouts with his interviews and work ethic, and performing at a respectable level, running a 4.79 at the 40-yard dash and benching 23 reps at the press. His overall combine production score has him 1st among defensive ends according to NFL.com, and it's grabbing all the right attention

“He’s a coach’s dream" said one anonymous AFC scout "Nobody is going to outwork him and football means a lot to him.”

He may not hear his name called on day one of the Draft, but at this point it would be an absolute shock to not hear his name called at all. Whoever gets the former Auburn standout will be walking away with a solid addition to their defensive line group.
